1. PURPOSE
1.1 This document was developed as an Audit Tool to assess Power Supply Units Manufacturing Process Capability.
1.2 A qualified auditor may also use this tool as a guideline to conduct a process 'Gap Analysis'.
1.3 The Lead Free section of this Audit Tool may be used to audit a suppliers compliance with Dell's "Lead Free Supplier Assessment Survey" and their overall readiness to produce Lead Free product.

2. SCOPE
2.1 The PSU Audit document is primarily intended to be used for suppliers/manufacturers of PSU Products for Dell.
2.2 The tool is applicable for all PS product, including CPG/ESG power supply, adapter and VRM, DC/DC;
2.3 The Lead Free section of this Audit Tool is intended to assess the Lead Free process and product readiness for any supplier whose process or product includes the production or repair of solder joints.
